X employees, X countries, and this is just the beginning
If you’ve ever been told you’re too much, too intense, or think too weirdly — hi, welcome home.
At Athena, we’re a community of curious minds and kind-hearted rebels out to question and improve the way the world does everything. Our office feels like the Library of Alexandria collided with a startup: books everywhere. Big thoughts. And people who care deeply.
We don’t do dull. We do deep dives, high-fives, and “Wait, what if we tried this instead?”
We don’t do dull. We do deep dives, high-fives, and “Wait, what if we tried this instead?”
Our team comprises engineers, psychologists, economists, poets, designers, and people who defy every label.
The psych major? Running ops like Amazon on Prime Day.
The engineer? Editing essays on free will, anarchy, and why Crocs might just start WW3.
The policy guy? Closing deals like he’s on Wall Street.
We don’t believe in straight lines or fixed paths. We believe in talent, drive, and the freedom to shape your own hero’s journey.
Athena is calling. We’ve saved you a seat—right next to the weirdos with the whiteboard markers.
From big-picture dreamers to spreadsheet sorcerers, we’re always on the hunt for sharp minds and kind hearts. Check out our open roles—no pressure, but we think you’ll vibe with us.

Principles for School, Work, and Life
Wealth and power without knowledge are destructive
I have been fortunate to receive many resources—both material and intellectual. In the future, armed with my knowledge and principles, I will give back to society, such that young people after me find opportunities to grow.
I cherish the process of becoming someone greater than I was. I must never stop growing.
If someone shows me a better way to act, speak, or think, I will gladly accept it. Nonetheless, I maintain high standards for truth and seek clear evidence to substantiate any claim.
I realize both are necessary to thrive. Idealism without pragmatism is powerless. Pragmatism without idealism is aimless. By combining the two, I can be an effective force for the good.
Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom. She is also the goddess of war. She thus embodies the harmonious union of idealism and pragmatism.
Then, I will continue to act in a noble manner for noble action is the only way to transform my life.
We part with words of wisdom from the ancient Greek philosopher, Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”
